It’s the Queen’s Birthday and to celebrate we are offering a range of specials on pearl studs.
The Queen traditionally commemorates her birthday towards the end of May or start of June, to coincide with the likelihood of fine weather in the Northern Hemisphere for outdoor ceremonies.
It’s getting a bit chilly here, but that’s no excuse not to dress like royalty and enjoy all things regal.
Did you know the crown jewels are part of a royal collection held in the Tower of London? Many attempts have been made to steal the jewels, but none have been successful.
The heart of the Crown Jewels display include ceremonial and symbolic objects like crowns, sceptres, orbs, rings, swords, spurs, bracelets and robes, all of which have a specific part to play in the ritual of the English coronation service.
The most famous crown is the Imperial State Crown which is set with more than 3,000 gemstones, including the famous diamond known as the Second Star of Africa (the second largest stone cut from the celebrated Cullinan Diamond), the Black Prince’s Ruby, the Stuart Sapphire, St Edward’s Sapphire and Queen Elizabeth’s Pearls.
While you might not have a one thousand year old crown to wear, a simple pair of pearl earrings can denote a regal sense of occasion.
Our simple yet stunning pearl earrings are made from high quality synthetic pearls with a unique crystal core, mounted on a titanium cup with an inserted post for excellent durability. The posts are made from titanium which is hypoallergenic and ideal for people with sensitivities.
Our pearl studs are available in a range of classic colours including gold, green, pink and cream.
Sometimes all you have to do is don a pair of pearl earrings to feel like royalty!
